We are pleased to bring you the following attractions for your enjoyment at this year’s Monster Buck Classic!

Steve Porter's Traveling Whitetails will be at the 2015 MBC to share their knowledge on monster bucks and their feeding and breeding habits and a host of other facts on what it takes to grow monster whitetails. It will be a constant "seminar" atmosphere as attendees can walk through and see three of the largest whitetails in existence and ask questions and make comments to Steve's staff who get to watch these majestic animals 24/7. So get ready to experience up close and personal with three of the most awesome whitetails in existence and gain more knowledge on this awesome creature we love so much!

Don't miss Steve's Traveling Whitetails as they will be at the Kansas City Cabela's the day before the event starts! Mark your calendar for January 22nd at the KC Cabelas!

In attendance will be these three awesome whitetails!

Double XL is 3 1/2 years old, has about 30 points, is about 36” wide on his outside spread, and should score over 300” S.C.I.

Bonehead is 4 1/2 years old, has  15 points, and should score about 245” S.C.I.

Stormin Norman is 5 1/2 years old, has 20 points, and should score about 245” S.C.I.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. James Kroll (Dr. Deer) will be our featured speaker both Saturdayand Sunday. He will be speaking on stage in the "Scoring Pit" so plan to attend one of his seminars. The bleachers will be full so make a point to get to the seminar early. You don't want to miss this opportunity.

Dr. James C. Kroll, known nationally as “Dr. Deer,” is a graduate of Baylor and Texas A&M Universities. James has been working professionally with whitetails for 40 years. His depth of knowledge has come from working in almost every state and province from Mexico to Canada. He hunts deer, he studies deer, he lives with deer; and, most importantly he loves deer. Over his career, James has published over 300 technical and popular articles, contributed to 35 magazines, appeared on TV programs on Sportsman Channel and four other outdoor networks, winning two awards. James has monthly columns in North American WHITETAIL Magazine and the Journal of the Texas Trophy Hunters Magazine. He also has published 8 books (two of which are best-sellers), and contributed to two more. Currently, he is completing a new book with his colleague and research partner, Ben Koerth, entitled: Forage Management for Whitetails, The Dr. Deer System. He also co-founded the Texas Deer Association, which is the fastest growing conservation organization in the Lone Star State. His research is far reaching, including behavior, habitat management, deer biology, genetics, hunting economics and tactics. For the last 36 years, he has been director of the Institute for White-tailed Deer Management & Research at Stephen F. Austin State University.

 

 

Torry Cook the founder of MFK Game Calls will be back with us again this year with his titled seminar "Managing Your Deer by Managing Your Predators". He was a huge success in 2014 and we are excited to have him coming back. Torry is a World Champion Predator caller that will share his tactics on calling in and harvesting predators to help in managing your deer herds. He will be in the Scoring Pit giving his seminar between Dr. Kroll's seminars.

Kansas Buck
